Bio: Hi! I'm the founder of Bamboo and I'm going to give a little bit of a backstory as to where this whole thing started. When I was 9 years old, I got an old Dell Latitude laptop. It ran Windows 7, and I was absolutely in love with it. I spent hours and hours every single day modding it, tweaking it, and messing around with it. I was so fascinated with the fact that when I switched a toggle, or installed a program, it would actually change the way the computer worked. I thought to myself, however, what if I wanted to make my own program? After only a few days of Googling, I became deeply interested in programming. In middle school, I dumped my entire life savings into a MacBook, which I also continuously tweaked and messed around with. Come freshman year of high school, I started learning about web development on Codecademy. I had so many ideas that I was itching to put into practice. I knew that I wanted to start my own company, but I did not know where to start. I decided to run a little web design business to raise money for a company and get some experience with web design. The web design business actually went well come the beginning of sophomore year, which meant that I had just enough money to start a small company. I knew that I needed someone to parter up with. I was constantly looking for someone smart in the field of programming who also shared the same Christian Values as I had. I then met someone named Jeremy Irvine during a Young and Free night at my church (Hillsong NYC). He was introduced to me by my youth leader, Emanuel. We started talking during youth meets about technology and the computer industry in general. I asked him if he wanted to be in charge of back-end development at Bamboo Software and he immediately said yes. I was so excited, that I started drawing timelines and roadmaps for software projects years and years from then. In early 2016, we started working on Project Celery, (project is described on front page) and we utilized help from mentors at CodeDay events. I'm super excited to be leading this company into the many ventures we should have in the future. Bamboo Software will do something that few software firms fail to realize which is make software that actually is useful in peoples everyday lives and solves problems that you and I care about.

Chief Technology Officer

Short Bio: Hello, I am the co-founder of Bamboo and this is how I got here. At the age of about 8 i started my first "programming" using batch and ".vbs" scripts. At the time,Ii loved it, how it could pop up windows and reboot the computer. Every day I would find something new, and sometimes, find something that shouldn't be there. Later on, I "officially" started programming, when I used visual basic to create a programs like tic-tac-toe, again, I was impressed at how much you could do with the language, intentional or not. At 12 my family bought me a white, plastic, late 2009 MacBook, now I could start programming on a whole different level, iOS. Fast-forward to 2016, Timothy Gurguis reached out to me, asked if I wanted to be apart of a company called "Bamboo Software", of course, I accepted. My vision for bamboo is to be a software firm that never has it's intent based on money, but on what people would want, and what they need.
